MEET THE TEAM
Brigid Moran
Brigid Moran brings 4 experience in program/project management, volunteer management, non-profit, and association work, 3 years of experience in event management, 2 years of experience in recruitment and governmental relations, and over 6 years of education experience to the team at RKO Consulting. With a passion for Sustainable Development and Science Policy, she takes pride in the long-term positive effects of every project undertaken.
Before joining RKO Consulting, Brigid worked as the Manager of Student and Early Career Programs at the Alliance of Crop, Soil, and Environmental Science Societies, increasing student and early career membership and participation in scholarships, awards, and programs. Brigid wrote and presented speeches at conferences, and played a key role in the logistical planning and execution of over 50 sessions, 5 separate multi-day long programs, and 4 day-long tours at the International Annual Meeting. Brigid has experience streamlining workflows for cross-departmental projects and has assisted in an office-wide onboarding of a project management software in two previous roles. She has a bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy from St. Norbert College. She spent 6 months in a domestic exchange program at American University in Washington D.C. where she received her concentration in Sustainable and Professional Development. Brigid also holds a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace.
Outside of work, Brigid enjoys partaking in various sports and serves as Recruitment Chair for her roller derby team. She can often be found roller-skating, bouldering at her local rock climbing gym, sailing with her friends, or cuddling up with her cat, Catmissioner James Gordon.
